Amit Dattani provides oral surgery services across the Midlands and has a strong academic and clinical background in both dentistry and medicine. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (2013) and a medical degree (2019), and completed his dental foundation training in Cardiff. He has since undertaken extensive postgraduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery within the NHS at leading centres including Cardiff Dental Hospital, Liverpool, and Birmingham.
In addition to his surgical training, Amit has worked as a medical doctor across multiple specialties, including ear, nose and throat surgery, further strengthening his clinical expertise and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. He has been awarded fourteen prizes and awards for academic and clinical excellence and has published research in international scientific journals. Alongside this, he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and dentists and holds a Diploma in Clinical Education, reflecting his commitment to professional development and education.
Amit is currently an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Registrar within the NHS and also provides private oral surgery services at Great Hampton Dental. He has further trained to place dental implants at the clinic, enabling him to offer comprehensive surgical care under one roof and ensuring continuity of treatment for patients requiring advanced procedures.
